Linen Closet Empty Linen Closet

Post  jayden Sat May 24, 2008 2:32 pm

Just got my shelving done for the linen closet... It's OK, but the shelves only extend halfway in (since the 'closet' is really deep and narrow). I am still disappointed A&B allowed this design flaw, along with the water heater in closet, into final construction. We put a lot of faith in them by purchasing without ever seeing the place, and they just shouldn't have compromised on these details.

Agreed, I looked at my neighbor's unit (he built a closet facade to hide the water heater) and I just couldn't believe how they could let this one slip through the cracks. There's just no excuse. When I tore out my carpet, I found all sorts of junk underneath. 'Goodies' I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. The unfortunate thing is the buck really does get passed around- blame becomes so diluted in the end that no one person really is at fault, yet pretty much everyone is. So what to do?
